cropped-rsz_fullsizerender_2.jpgMy name is Stephen Higgins. I have a collection formed over the last fifteen years of medals and ephemera to Irish (mainly Dublin) born soldiers who fought and in some cases fell during the Great War 1914-1918.

As this country becomes more and more aware of its military heritage, I believe in this centennial period of commemoration of the Easter Rising, I would like to remember the 200,000 Irishmen and women who also served their country on the battlefields of Belgium,France and Gallipoli some 40,000 never returning.
